How do I start a project?
Send a consultation request with your idea, placement, approximate size and any useful reference images. Ray will review it and suggest the best next step.
When are consultations available?
Consultations are generally available Tuesday through Friday at 6:00 pm and are arranged in advance.
Do you take cover-up or rework projects?
Yes. Cover-ups and reworks are considered individually. Clear photographs of the existing tattoo and the surrounding area are essential before a consultation.
Can I bring reference images?
Absolutely. References help communicate subject matter, mood and details you respond to. They are used as direction for an original composition rather than copied directly.
What styles are the best fit?
The portfolio leans toward black-and-grey realism, dark atmospheric work, mythic or classical imagery, nature, memorial pieces and large readable compositions.
How should I prepare for my appointment?
Arrive rested, hydrated and having eaten a proper meal. Wear clothing that gives easy access to the tattoo area and follow any specific preparation instructions sent before your appointment.
